Q. Should I clean my coins?
A. Never clean coins. Cleaned coins lose the majority of their collectible value.

Q. How do you pay?
A. We pay cash, Interac (e-Transfer), direct deposit, bank draft, or wire transfer.

Q. What is the first thing you do once you receive my shipment?
A. The first thing we do is inform you we have received your belongings. Next we sort and appraise your collection. Once we complete this process, we will contact you with this information, and make you an offer. You may then decide to accept the amount offered or request for your belongings to be returned.

A. Any diamonds 0.5 carats or larger we purchase. We do not purchase synthetic gemstones.

Q. Is there a general rule on what coins I should send you? How do I know my coins contain silver?
A. The best way to know if your Canadian coins are silver is to try to pick them up with a magnet. If they stick, they are not silver. This works for dimes, quarters, fifty cents and dollars.
Canadian circulated coins that contain silver are as follows:
Dollars from 1967 and older
Half dollars from 1967 and older
Quarters from 1968 and older (1968 that do not stick to magnets)
Dimes from 1968 and older (1968 that do not stick to magnets)
American circulated coins that contain silver are as follows:
Dollars, half dollars, quarters, dimes from 1964 and older
Half dollars from John F. Kennedy from 1970 and older
